ADITUS Lanyards – One Single Material for More Sustainability

18. January 2024 Industry Trends

Today, we are thrilled to share a groundbreaking development in the world of lanyards: Introducing our brand new ADITUS lanyards, setting an example of sustainability and conscientious resources utilization. We firmly believe that small changes can have a significant impact.

Less Is More

Our goal was to develop lanyards that not only boast visual appeal but also minimize environmental footprint. Guided by the principles of the 3Rs: reduce, reuse and recycle. We aimed to curtail material consumption, promote reusability, and use only renewable, or recycled materials that are in turn biodegradable or recyclable. The result is an innovative lanyard that consists exclusively of a single strap – without any additional plastic or metal hooks. This simple but effective design allows the lanyard to be directly threaded through the badge hole and firmly secured by a notch in the strap, establishing a sturdy connection between the lanyard and the badge.

Environmentally Friendly Materials

The ADITUS lanyards are available in a variety of eco-friendly materials. Whether you opt for recycled PET (rPET), organic cotton or bamboo, you’ll find the right lanyard that not only complements your style but also aligns with your commitment to the environment.

Inspiring mindful messages

Our new lanyards do more than showcase their sustainable material, they can also carry meaningful messages: Imagine short, inspiring messages encouraging reuse and prompt in thoughtful reflection: #sustainability #reuse #reduce #recycle

By customizing your lanyard design, they can be used multiple times and worn proudly at various events. Let your lanyard become a powerful messenger for change.

Stylish look and high quality for conferences, meetings and trade fairs: The ADITUS lanyards make the perfect companion for any event.

Test Successfully Mastered

Two rPET prototypes underwent rigorous testing at the DACH trade fair conference of FAMA in Basel and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Testers were enthusiastic, describing the lanyards as “cool”, “clever” and “a topic for ages, finally a sensible alternative”. The pleasant material and the appealing new design earned high praise. While the badge attachment may be somewhat unconventional; for the sake of the environment, we are making the change!

A Glimpse into the Future

Our dedicated development team is working flat out to create additional prototypes with different badge attachments, providing even more flexibility. Our goal is to offer our valued customers the perfect lanyard that suits their specific needs. Stay tuned for updates on our progress and further tests.
