Less Is More
Our goal was to develop lanyards that not only boast visual appeal but also minimize environmental footprint. Guided by the principles of the 3Rs: reduce, reuse and recycle. We aimed to curtail material consumption, promote reusability, and use only renewable, or recycled materials that are in turn biodegradable or recyclable. The result is an innovative lanyard that consists exclusively of a single strap – without any additional plastic or metal hooks. This simple but effective design allows the lanyard to be directly threaded through the badge hole and firmly secured by a notch in the strap, establishing a sturdy connection between the lanyard and the badge.

The ADITUS lanyards are available in a variety of eco-friendly materials. Whether you opt for recycled PET (rPET), organic cotton or bamboo, you’ll find the right lanyard that not only complements your style but also aligns with your commitment to the environment.

Test Successfully Mastered
Two rPET prototypes underwent rigorous testing at the DACH trade fair conference of FAMA in Basel and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Testers were enthusiastic, describing the lanyards as “cool”, “clever” and “a topic for ages, finally a sensible alternative”. The pleasant material and the appealing new design earned high praise. While the badge attachment may be somewhat unconventional; for the sake of the environment, we are making the change!
