Users receive suggestions for suitable add-on products, find the ideal accommodation, and see which relevant exhibitors will be present at the event. These recommendations help organisers increase conversion rates and provide participants with a convenient user experience.
Product Recommendations
Product recommendations in the ADITUS Visitor Portal use cross-selling and up-selling to highlight relevant add-on products and ticket options at the right moment.
Cross-Selling
Complementary items such as parking tickets, services, side events, or merchandise are specifically suggested alongside selected tickets, helping users put together a complete event package.
Up-Selling
Up-selling options display higher-value ticket categories, which can be added to the basket with a single click, replacing existing selections.

The hotel booking widget integrated into the Visitor Portal uses the event location, dates, and other event data to suggest relevant hotels nearby. Presented in a combined map and list view, information such as price, amenities, cancellation policy, or ratings can be seen at a glance. In addition to event data, language, currency, and previously entered form data are automatically pre-filled.

These recommendations present company logos and descriptions for businesses whose products match a visitor’s interests. Standardised tags such as “Innovator”, “New Exhibitor”, or “TOP Exhibitor” make it easy to highlight exhibitors, who can later be found later at the event using hall and booth information.
If an exhibitor has booked a Branding Package, other exhibitor recommendations can be hidden in the branded Visitor Portal. This ensures that the exhibitor’s branding remains in focus.
