Badge Paper

The right badge paper ensures smooth processes and creates a professional first impression. At ADITUS, you can choose between two materials as well as various formats and perforation options, tailored to the specific requirements of your event. Before the event, the pre‑printed badge paper is loaded into the high‑capacity trays of the Self‑Badging Terminals (SBT) and Self‑Badging Gates (SBG), both featuring integrated badge printers. The SBTs and SBGs indicate low fill levels, allowing the paper to be refilled within seconds. Standalone badge printers can also be used.

Material: RipProof

The RipProof badge is recommended for multi‑day or high‑traffic events as well as outdoor use. It features a thermal composite film on the reverse and consists of sturdy cardboard with a laminated film layer. This construction makes the badge exceptionally tear‑resistant and stable, even at the perforation. The result is fewer reprints, fewer failures, and reduced effort. The badge remains dimensionally stable even after repeated use, saving resources, time, and costs. Note: Although the individual components are recyclable, separating paper and film during the recycling process is challenging.

Material: PaperOnly

The PaperOnly badge does not include a film backing and is ideally suited for one‑day indoor events where standard durability is sufficient. Its lower weight reduces material consumption, making badge production more environmentally friendly and simplifying recycling. Despite the reduced material use, the paper quality remains high and ensures clean, reliable thermal printing. This option is also economically attractive, offering a sustainable and cost‑efficient badge solution.

Stable Format

All badge templates are based exclusively on the proven butterfly format. After printing, attendees take the badge from the Self‑Badging Terminal or Self‑Badging Gate and fold it, creating a double material layer for increased stability. Depending on the size, the badge provides varying amounts of space for names, roles, logos, or advertising. The established badge formats are:

  • 3.25” × 8” Butterfly (folded: 3.25” × 4”)
  • 4” × 8” Butterfly (folded: 4” × 4”)
  • 4” × 12” Butterfly (folded: 4” × 6”)

In addition, all badges include a small detail with a noticeable effect: rounded corners improve wearing comfort, reduce wear and tear, and contribute to a high‑quality appearance.
