With Integrated Turnstile for Smooth Admission
Self-Badging Gate
(With Turnstil)
The Self-Badging Gate (SBG) combines ticket scanning, badge printing, and access control in a single, fully automated system that works both online and offline. The key upgrade compared to the SBT: an integrated turnstile that enables all participants to enter the event site automatically and one at a time. Thanks to the digital, intuitive user interface, participants are ready for the event in less than 3 seconds. Scan ticket, print badge, pass through the turnstile! This is ADITUS’ fast one-stop solution.
Scope
The SBG has been specially developed for events with high visitor numbers. It enables smooth self-service access – largely without staff supervision. The main components:
-
Admission Terminal Speedy for ticket scanning and control
-
Turnstile for automated, controlled access
-
Thermal Printer for fast, smudge-proof badge printing
-
Badge Paper Storage integrated into the turnstile housing, for extra-large paper capacity
The universal admission terminal Speedy is the heart of the SBG. It scans the ticket and processes the data. The thermal printing technology ensures fast and clean badge printing. The turnstile enables controlled access for participants to the event site – without additional staff.

One Connection for Everything
The SBG stands on a mobile base plate or can be permanently fixed to the floor. It is then connected to the power supply and, thanks to its LAN and Wi-Fi capability, offers maximum flexibility. To keep things simple, the SBGs are connected to each other so that only a single connection is required. And thanks to the patented and securely encrypted QUICODE technology, Speedy even works in offline mode. This means the SBGs are ready for use in just a few minutes!

Fast Access
For fast access to the event site, participants hold their ticket in front of the Speedy scanner. Whether paper or smartphone: Speedy processes the scanned ticket and reads the registration data, which is then sent to the integrated badge printer. The badge paper is printed on demand, and participants take their personalised badge from the output slot. No waiting, no smudging: all this in just 2.78 seconds!

Exit Scan for Attendance Recording
Exit can be recorded at the SBG via an exit scan. The scan point is positioned on the exit side and is clearly visible thanks to the LED frame, so attendees intuitively know what to do: they hold their badge up to the scanner and then pass through the turnstile to leave the event. The exit scan can be enabled permanently or for defined time windows, allowing precise tracking of attendance duration.

Less Staff Required
The SBG is intuitive to use: the large LCD display of Speedy guides participants through the admission process. The scanned registration data is processed, and RGB LEDs as well as acoustic signals provide immediate feedback on the ticket status. After a successful scan, badge printing starts automatically. Participants are prompted by the SBG to take their badge and pass through the turnstile. The entire process is so simple that no additional staff is required.

Automated Badge Printing
The pre-designed badge paper is located in the base of the SBG and is printed with the participant’s personal data after each ticket scan. The thermal printing technology ensures an immediately smudge-proof result. If the paper supply is running low, the terminal signals this to the service staff via integrated lighting. The badge paper is easily refilled via a flap in the base.
